At Hayden Digital we’re big fans of continuing education. So we have a weekly diet of killer marketing resources. These resources aren’t just for us marketing geeks but for you as business owners learning how to improve your business as well.

Even if you don’t want to do all the marketing work yourself (that’s what we’re here for) you should still be learning about what’s happening in the marketing world at least so you can make sure your business is heading in the right direction.

Here’s a rundown of the resources we like to check out each week. (We’re big fans of podcasts so most of the resources mentioned are podcasts!)

Social Media Marketing Podcast

This podcast is put out weekly by the people over at an amazing site that goes through the news you need to know about social media every day. Not only are we big fans of this podcast (and their sister podcast The Social Media Marketing Talkshow) but this will be the second year we’ll be attending their conference (virtually).

Building a StoryBrand with Donald Miller

StoryBrand is a company that helps businesses clarify their marketing message and become more effective in their communications to future customers. This podcast has great tips and awesome guest interviews that will inspire you and keep you thinking about how to improve your business.

Perpetual Traffic

Digital Marketer is a website with tons of amazing courses and trainings and this podcast includes their expertise as well as some co-hosts from other marketing agencies talking about the best ways to keep marketing your business online. There’s always a few gems in their episodes.

(New) Akimbo: A Podcast from Seth Godin

Seth Godin is a marketing genius and someone who has done a lot of thinking about the new economy the internet has created and how we as humans should be doing business and work. This podcast is a new venture for him as he’s taken a break from this medium for a while. His books and blog posts are a gold mine of thought provoking ideas.

If you are at all involved in the marketing of a business, service, or idea I would highly recommend checking out one or more of these podcasts and their accompanying websites. You don’t always need to do the marketing work yourself but knowing what’s out there can help you better direct your business.
